Every weekend in 2011, I found myself drawn to this spot in Phoenix, Arizona, seeking to capture the perfect night shot. It became a ritual, a peaceful escape from the chaos of everyday life. The drive up was always filled with anticipation, my mind envisioning the scene that awaited me.
This photograph is a testament to patience and perseverance. It wasn't just about finding the right angle or setting up the equipment. It required waiting for the perfect cloudless night when the sky was clear, and the city's lights could shine in their full glory.
